hi my name is georgina (pitt)beardwell .my father was joseph henrry pitt born in london on 19 of march 1926.he was the youngest of 4.nanny pitt was born on the 8/8/1889 not 1900. my dad died in jan 1984 .i now nanny pitts dad was a carman so was his dad and grandad hope this helps

Yes have the other two sibbligs, just goint to try and locate Henry Smiths family now, i know he had two daughthers, Brenda and a pam and Pam married and became a Kerr

Did you find Alfred and Minnie?

Select births, put in Pitt for Surname and Mcgill for Spouse/Mother surname.

yes ive traced back the mcgils to the early 1800`s to Scotland at the moment

I'm inclined to think the 1926 birth could be the one. Looks like he was named after his father.

not sure about the birth on Joseph, apparently my nan ( Minnie was in the middle of either Joseph or Alfred, so i`m guessing he was the oldest, but not 100%, and i can see where you are coming from Rose
