AThanks for your help,I have the marriage(if its the right people)Qld index-George married Mary Ewen 3rd Nov 1886 ref no. 1886/001404 Now the information I have is from the qld index.
George Day born 22nd March 1887 reg 1887/008285
Anne Stevenson Day born 21st Dec 1888 reg no 1889/008957
Henry Thomas Day born 19th April 1892 reg 1892/B50228 Now what I do know is that the family lived in Balmain Sydney and had Sarah-1894

I can find only one child born in QLD ,Henry Thomas Day father is George Day and mother is Mary Ewen.
Henry has 2 birth entries one for 18-4-1892 and one for 19-4-1892..take your pick..lol.
I cannot find a marriage for George and Mary anywhere,where did you get the reg number from ?,also what state were they married in ??.

Geraldton is in Western Australia,i have looked in the WA marriages and cant find their marriage..
I have found a Beethilda Bone born in 1886,mother is Elizabeth Hilda Boucher and father is Harry Bone born at Geraldton.
Also a Henry Bone born in 1888,mother Elizabeth Boucher and father Henry Bone.
Also Hilda Bone born 1885,mother Elizabeth Boucher and father Henry Bone.
Also Mabel Winifred Bone born 1887,mother Elizabeth Boucher and father Henry Bone.
All were born in Geraldton.

Hi,Steven.I was wondering if you can help me or put me in the right direction please.I have a possible lead.I know George day and Mary Ewen from Balmain in Sydney had my grandmother Sarah Elizabeth Day in 1894 and more children,however a kind helper has informed me that Mary and George could of had more children earlier in Queensland. How do I find the link?I want to find out if its the same people.And will the marriage cert have there place of bith and parents name? The ref no.for the marriage is 1186/001404 How do I really know its the same family Iam searching for? Thank you for your help

Not sure if you cover Geralton, not sure where in Australia it is.I have a Elizabeth Boucher with a Henry Bone in 1885 when they had their first child But not sure if they married,she was born in Worcester England in 1858

There is a Ethel Meyers born 1898..but thats all i can find..

I wonder if you can help me? I am looking for imfomation on Henry Walter Scott Douglas, I think he was from England? I dont know his date of birth of death only that he married Maria cook on the 19/02/1869 in Fremantle WA. Maria was born in England on the 15/01/1849 in Woowich.

I have an Ethel Mayers born abt 1893 Melbourne Australia

Shes with her grandmother in England 1901 census age 8 her father was British ,can you find her birth not sure which of the grandmothers sons was her father.

Steven. I don,t know if you can help .I onlypass the impossable on . I have a Florence H Barsby bn 1916 Wellingborough Northamptonshire ,Eng. There is no trace of her after ,Now in the war years did she meet up with someone ,and go abroad .There is one Florence marr in Wisbech ,but she was bn there 1915 . I can but hope .Thank You .Robert

Many thanks for the information,
I've just received Victor Burge Rawlings wedding certificate in the post.

It lists his father (John) as a railway employee in Aus.
Their address is "Isis Junction,North Coast Line,Queensland"
I think I'm going to have to track him down by investigating UK passport applications or Aus immigration papers.

Anyway many thanks for you searches.

John Rawlings and Alice Davies were married in QLD on 17-3-1891.
They had 2 sons named Ernest John Rawlings born in QLD on 28-12-1891.
and
Victor Burge Rawlings born in QLD on 15-7-1894.

There was a J.Rawlings also who was a hotel owner/manager ? of the
Yandaran Hotel, Yandaran in QLD in 1918.

But i couldnt find anything on him from the UK
