hi in the 1911 census he was 7 would year of birth be 1904? because i think i asked to 1c 527 and GRO said wrong parents? thanks gill i have found reply from gro and it said parents not alfred and emily(cushway) maiden name 1c527 gill i put 1/3/1905 they said no

hi surname is wills on census it says james wills son sex m age 7 in 1911 where born bow add 58 appian rd district poplar county london subdistrict bow parish poplar enumeration district 26 my father was born 50 appian rd thanks gill

hi i have census schedule number could have mistaken for 8 rather than zero. so if i want to ask for birth cert for james i will put place of birth BOW london and GRO could find him? thanks gill

My family often moved within the same street. They just rented accomodation and moved to either more rooms or less rooms depending on how many family were there at any one time. Also moved if they needed to spend less money on rent.

hi i have looked at census in 1904 my uncle james was born? in 58 appian rd and my father sidney walter george born 1912 in 50 appian rd bow london do u think it a writing error or they moved a few doors away from 1 birth to another many thanks gill
