The marriages were found on Ancestry - the 1934 one might be on freebmd and the second one is too late for that site.

Donaghy is the mothers maiden name

I am not finding an Amer/Donaghy marriage apart from 1931.

Perhaps it was mums second marriage also. Do you know her first name?

James Claire Amer as far as we know didn't marry Catherine Donaghy (we did quite a bit of research into them!)

My dad has just remembered that Mary went to Kenya to live and we think she also died out there but have no idea of dates or if she was alone!

Is there anyway of finding this sort of information out as I have no idea where to start?
