Janice,
i am thinking down the lines that parhaps Edith was born Picton and her mother married again to a Hurnell or even her mother had her before she married anyone, anyway it was very kind of you to help Janice thank you,
Ann.

Walter F is a telegraph learner in 1901 so I'm thinking it's unlikely to be him.

I was wondering if anyone may help me here!!
On the 1911 census
I found Walter Beckwith born 1882 from Kings London and his wife Edith Beckwith [nee] Hurnell born 1884 from Woodgreen London, along with their children Ivy Beckwith age 9, Mildred Beckwith age 7 and Leonard Beckwith age 3 all the children born in Woodgreen London. What i cannot find is anything before 1911 on either Walter or Edith not even a marriage.
Please if anyone could steer me in any direction i would be most grateful.
Thank you Ann
P.S I have looked on Bmd
