Although - if you search for a birth for Leonard Kaye at FreeBMD (url above), you will find on in Chipping Norton in 1901 that would very probably be him. That birth cert would give his parents' names. If that's him, he did have the great consideration to be born just before the 1901 census! My friend knows so little about these families but is interested in the Brotchie family in particular. She knows they were from Scotland originally but not much else. Any help would be great.
