yes there the people, i think u are right, but un sure why i cant find birth for her, may look for siblings see if i have any luck there.

Is this the people who had Martha on the certificate you have.
1881 John born Liverpool a dock porter
Rebecca wife.
John son 16
Mary 10
Martha 6
William a few months
They were at 15,Court 1 house Bostock Street .
I think its just a case of you having the wrong birth certificate for Martha.

if stephen isnt marthas or stephens father, i wonder who is? becoz this bith certificate i have has a diffrent mother 2, im pretty sure marrige certificate is rite, it must be there cant be many marriges of a william pearman and martha riley. and this does say father is stephen riley, blimey what a puzzle all i wanted ther birth certificate for was to find mothers name, as they were irish i dint no were to look.

Margaret had son Stephen 1872/3 he married 1899 A/M/J in west derby to Bessie melrose Young.
So would he not be Stephen's son either,seems strange if she had son to someone else but called it after her dead husband.
Unless she was pregnant when he died.

so if we are rite and i no that 1 of these guys are her siblings i could get there certificate which cd lead me to her mothers maiden name, althought thanks to u guys it could be foster

1851 Stephen lodging in great crosby District 1a page 35.
1851 margaret Foster born 1833 in cavan ireland with parents James and Jane in Great crosby district 1a page 41 so pretty close to Stephen.

oh ok yeah no problem, 3 july 1899 william pearman 22 and martha riley 24 he was a railway porter, living at bramfhall road, his dad was william pearman a pensioner and her dad was stephen riley labourer, witnesss was H ballan and a M ballan was married in liverpool

Ah, okay, so you do have Stephen from there.

Have you identified the births of any of the other children? If you got one and the father was Stephen, you could be pretty sure it was a sibling of Martha.
