	Also in the Times (Jan 20 1897), a Rosetta E Tonnesen is listed as having passed a Musical Examination. If it's the same woman, she was still known by this name in 1897.

	Just found an article in the Times - they weren't actually divorced - apparently both cases were dismissed!!

	Rosetta was divorced from Hans. There are 2 files relating to the divorce at the National Archives. Go to "Search the Catalogue" on their website, put in the surname and use J77 as the reference to search. You can click on "Request this" to get a quote for copies.

	Your great grand parents could well have been married and I just can't find them. I will try and investigate further later today or tomorrow. Do you have any other information Wendy

Don't understand, there is a Langley maiden name and a Ackrill, could they be two different families? They were definately married. Baffled. I'd imagine one of them must be the right Rosetta.

	Can not find a death between 1871 and 1881 for Tonnesen so perhaps she was not free to marry James Ball Looks like it could be a Norwegian surname
