Viv, are you looking for outgoing at findmypast?

I've figured out that when I back-page to the search form I have to reload or it doesn't work.

But this "Year of departure must be numeric" is getting up my nose. What does it THINK "1903" is, a fruit?

You may be right ... 'cause I can't find 'em. Or a death or remarriage for either to 1911 ... that's about three defeats this afternoon and I think I should slink home in shame.

Is this one theirs?

Births Jun 1903
Rabbett Lilian Kathleen Aston 6d 465

The only other one in Warwickshire to 1911 is:

Births Sep 1905
Rabbitt Ivy W. Bromwich 6b 910

Tell what you know! If they have kids, are they in the 1911?

I can't as yet confirm any children for this couple...sorry

Should also add i have checked FreeBMD for possible deaths & could not find anything "suitable".

John has several brothers on 1881 census, so i'm guessing that there may have been quite afew little Rabbit's hopping around Birmingham area by 1911..! ( & no way of knowing who they belonged to either).

We are always at war Roy ,so dont fret about it.

Have you any childrens names and ages etc?

Mind you I cant even see John on the 1901 at the moment.
Need to hone my paltry skills some more!

Paranoid. ;)

I tried them both, with "surname starts with RAB" and 3 years either side for birth, no luck.

For surname RAB*T in Birmingham there are one Rabbit (Eliza 1839) and three Rabnetts, no John/Ada, is all.

I am not asking for a look up !!

Just a fresh pair of eyes to check + confirm that John William Rabbit ( b. 1874 , Aston , Birmingham , Warwickshire ) & wife Ada (b. 1876 , Aston , Birmingham) are NOT on there( at least i can't find them).
I'm not asking to look at transcipt...just a check on the free-to-use part of the website.

Their name is also spelled : Rabbitt , Rabbett & Rabett

Thankyou
