I ordered the certificate for the birth of William Francis Lang below and it has to be him. Father-William Lane a gilder. Mother: Sarah JARVIS.
In census records it states that she was born in Devon.
Everyone has been so very helpful to me.

Rosina was born in Marylebone London and the place of marriage was Holy Trinity which I imagine was the Parish Church of St Marylebone. After Rosina married Francis Lewis and they had children they lived in
Marylebone Lane which was right behind Selfridges in Oxford Street. When Thomas Lewis, their son, joined the Army aged 18, his home address was 29 Augustus Street, Regents Park. You need to concentrate on North London, including Islington or Middlesex for answers. Districts include Marylebone, St Pancras or anywhere north of the City of London.
.Rosina died in 1930 and her death is registered in St. Pancras. Louisa Hoodless (nee Lane) also died in 1930 in St Pancras. Rosina was 58 when she died and Louisa 53. which ties up with their births in 1872 and 1877.(Estimated).
Still can't find any records for their births. Rosina's death is registered as vol.1b Page 87 and Louisa's Vol.1b Page 69. Hope this info. will help in your search.

I went to Free BMD and I found a Sarah Ann Smith married to a Alfred Jarvis, district Srand London. Sept. 1863 vol 1b page 768. Alfred died at age 28: Sep
1866 Pancras Vol 1b, Pafe 15?
I wonder if perhaps Sarah Jarvis was a widow when she married William Henderson Lane/Lang.

Onto Louisa, my Rosina's sister: She was born in 1880 in Islington London and married a Robert Hoodless born 1875 of the same place. Someone has kindly told me that in the 1911 census, Robert and Louisa are a family and a Sarah Lane, age 68 born 1843 in Islington London is living with them.
There is a Sarah A Lane who died in 1916 at age 70 1b page 359. I'm just adding as much as i can to try and find Rosina.
