Find Ancestors

Hi All,thats watching this, now im totally flumoxed,in 1901 Robert & Louisa Hope had 11 children the dates can be worked out,and in 1911 they had 7 children when you add up the dates they dont match,though Robert was born in Bristol; and Louisa in essex on both counts,what chances is there that both parents coming from the same places and having some names of children the same can be so mixed up,please help im almost bald.

I was just thinking the same thing about the marriage Dea.

Silly to discount it when it is in the right time and place and may well be a mistranscription of Robert Hope from the originial.

I think the marriage in 1877 which Andy has posted above will be the one!

1911 shows them married for 33 years and their first child was born in Edmonton.

If not now looks like the time to try it!

Other children could have been anywhere that night and if they were gypsys was the census taker having a laugh calling them Pikey?

there is a story in the family that we were decendants of gypsy rose lee,real name Alice coe,now im getting excited
