Hello Val

I have all the original wills......

He is named in them in 1906 along with other grandchildren of F.H.Ayres (Sports Manufacturers)

6 codicils later in 1919 he is not mentioned so he must be dead!!! all the other grandchildren are on the will ............................less his aunts & uncles that have died in between

GlitterBaby Report 25 Oct 2009 19:42

I can't get anything else to come up either apart from the ones we have told you about.

Perhaps you could take a 14 day trial to check it out.

On Ancestry there is an entry under

under

As Jonesey said earlier there are lots come up when you search
British Commonwealth War Graves Registers, 1914-1918 but they don't relate to a Stanley Stephen Ayres, there is something strange going on.

GlitterBaby Report 25 Oct 2009 15:52

Do you know which cemetary - which would narrow it down a bit - but it looks as if all entries are listed 5 - 10 times

GlitterBaby

GlitterBaby Report 25 Oct 2009 15:50

As Jonesey has already said there are dozens of entries on British Commonwealth War Graves Registers for that name

Which is different to the one you have pasted
