Im not sure, will have to ask my Grandad because all i know was that she came from Monmouth to Chelmsford, she lived round the corner from Harry and i think the son died when they were in chelmsford.

I will check though, thank you.

My Grandad said Lillie was an only child but it seems she had an older sister and brother. How can i confirm that i am looking at the right family?
Im so useless at this. :)

Perhaps if you were to buy Lillies birth certificate it would confirm just who her parents were.

Also the marriage certificate of Katherine Annie to Thornton Kidley would be a good purchase. This would clear up a lot of doubt.

Llandogo, Monmouth to
Trellech, Monmouth
Distance: 1.6 miles

this is taken from an advetisment for The Lion Inn, Trellech.......do you think that this may be the one that your family had ties with?

Lion Inn
Trellech, Monmouth, Monmouthshire, NP25 4PA
Telephone 01600 860322

http://www.lioninn.co.uk/

Situated in Monmouthshire, in the heart of the picturesque Wye Valley, South Wales, The Lion Inn is a well established and extremely popular public house.

Built in the late 16th Century, actually completed in 1580, The Lion Inn was originally a coaching inn, brew house and pig farm. Many of the original features of the brewing cellar still remain, as do a number of outhouses that were used as pig sty's. The Lion is the only traditional Inn in the ancient village of Trellech. It consists of two rooms, both with open fires and exposed wooden beams. One room is used as a traditional village bar, the other as a restaurant area

The members of GR i have sent messages to regarding Harrys siblings have all come back negative. I dont think the Lillie and Job found are the right ones, im a tad confused now.
Surely their cant be too families in the same town with the same mother and father names.
Im not really sure now how to proceed with my search.
Is the best thing to do - buy the marriage certificate of Lillie & Job? If so, how do i know that the marriage found is correct?
sorry for the babble but as you can tell im abit lost
Kindest regards
kelly

I would buy Lillie & William Job's marriage certificate. It is unlikely that there were be two sets of people with the same names, same fathers and occupations
