Rebecca,
As far as she knows he was Easton and Mr. Bishop was his stepfather.

If he had half siblings, could his surname have "changed". Was he born EASTON or did he become Easton when his mother remarried?

Sandra

Sandra Report 25 Nov 2009 15:05

He had 2 younger stepbrothers called Robert Alfred and Albert Bishop

He may have lied about his age, he joined the army and the story goes that there was a to do about his pension as he lied about his age, he was 17 when he joined up and not 18.

I just phoned my mum in law, she said he married Lillian Valentine Beavis (born Valentines day 1909) on either 21st or 22nd Dec 1929/30. Lillian came from Maidstone and she died 2000.
Does this help any?

Vera and Keith,
Thank you very much. My mother in law said there was something not right about him. I'll tell her the results and see what she thinks.

The only Frederick William I can see on the 1911 census is born Middlesborough with parents Albert and Emmma, no Fredericks showing born in Kent at all.

Julie, thank you.
It's my mother in law who wants to know and I just wondered if anyone could find out without her sending for a birth certificate.

Can anyone please find out the names of the parents of Frederick William Easton, born 22-04-1904 in Kent (possibly Ashford), he died on either 3rd or 9th August 1968 in Maidstone?

Thank you,
