Hi ..thanks Anne

At the moment - I cant see Alfred being a clerk and then a tram conductor - so I suspect that this isnt the correct family........although aged 21 would be about right for Alfred.

In the 'Quick' family...the names Leonard, Charles & Sidney appear a lot.....so not sure about John & Frederick ?

I have kindly been given this info from a G.R. member yesterday and have spent ages looking for Reg & Jessies parents, but cant find anything:

Name: Reginald Charles Quick Age: 27
Estimated birth year: abt 1888
Spouse Name: Jessie Lena Irish Spouse Age: 25
Record Type: Marriage Event Date: 16 Oct 1915
Parish: Saint Barnabas, Southfields County: Middlesex
Borough: Wandsworth

Father Name: Alfred Quick (decd) Tram Conductor
Spouse Father Name: John Irish (decd) Soldier

Source Citation: London Metropolitan Archives, Saint Barnabas, Southfields, Register of marriages, P95/BAN, Item 076

Bridegroom a Bachelor - address - Colwood Gardens, Bolney, Sussex Occupation - Gardener
Bride a Spinster - address - 9 Smeaton Road - Domestic Servant
Witnesses - Charles Chaplin and Mrs. Dudman

I am looking to find out more - in particualr about Alfred Quick & his wife and any other children that they had. I have looked on Free BMD & Family seach, but havent found anything.

I know that Alfred was a tram driver - probably born c 1860 and his son Reginald was a gardener born c1880.

Can anyone please find the family in any of the census records?
