Just found that Eliza was born 1862 she was born in. And that her P.O.B was Hants Gosport.

You have missed the point I was making about her name......check again what I actually asked you............

I'm not sure if they stayed married. I would expect so. But I can't say for certain.

She may have reverted to her maiden name of Colborne/Colbourne if they didn't stay married.

The death Freewheel found in 1949 Willesden. Could she have been visiting family at the time.?
I say this because I found my grandmothers death in 1950 somewhere I didnt expect.

I recently found out from a cousin that she went to look after a sick relative and took ill and died

Already ruled that possibility out. Are there any deaths in Hants Gosport? She may have returned to family in her birthplace. I guess we still assume she died after him?

And we've definitely ruled out all deaths beforehand?

Places you'd find her, are probably: Damerham, Fordingbridge, Alderholt, Gosport and Salisbury.

I think those are the only options for place of death that are possible, or actually make sense.

Also, on a hunch. Did they have care homes in those days? In Willesden perhaps? Unlikely she was admitted there, but it is possible.

If you buy Austin's death cert, you'll find out if his wife registered the event.

We have looked at all possible records for you - no more to look at.

And WHY have you "ruled out" the Willesden death?

'We' don't assume anything - you might, but that's not the way to research family history.

Why don't you take out Ancestry's 14-day free trial and look for the death yourself?

Technically. Buying it would be difficult. Why do you assume I'm old enough to even earn money to simply do that?

I had to basically beg to get membership to this.

What do you mean duplicates?

Mike.
You have to be 16 to join this site so if you are younger then dont advertise the fact.

Sadly this is not a cheap hobby. I personally have spent hundreds of £s buying certs to prove my findings

Having duplicates means you have posted more than one thread about the same person. It upsets members because others are searching for things already found or not as the cause may be

Hope this helps you
