EDIT: Scotlands people shows marriage to Catherine Bainbridge took place in 1929. I don't have any credits so can't view the record but maybe someone else could, or you could buy a copy of the cert.

Thank you Catherine... The Fife connection could add up.

So far I know nothing about him, prior to WWI. His army discharge papers refer to BroughtyFerry and I have a few old pics with a BroughtyFerry photographers stamp on them. I'm afraid I don't have any other papers of his.... Yet!

I'll dig around through that info.

Looking for info re: my Grandfather, John Andrew Kilpatrick's ancestory:
Born c.1896 Dundee area possibly. Served in Machine Gun Corps during WWI (Middle East). Died c. 1938, Renfrewshire. Married (twice?). Second marriage to Catherine Templeton Bainbridge. sons, (My father) Ian (b 1930 d.2000) Charles, Ernie.
