I think those Joseph and John births are the same as the ones I found! So a good bet.

Thanks for George and Elizabeth Jan, didn't have them!
Seeing that there are so many children to my grandparents, I think I should just concentrate on one family at a time starting with the eldest?
I am starting to get in a muddle see that the same name is appearing within the same family.
I will do as you say and check the 2009 Electoral roll.

I think that's a very good idea! I have researched all my family plus my husband's and get in a right muddle I can tell you!

I do too of John....I didn't see a Joseph that you found, but that would probably be my father, and I do have his birth certificate.
I am sort of getting the hang of things on Genes, but I think I have been getting mixed up with Genes site and freebmd, as I am only a Standard member with Genes.
I have messaged quite a lot of people on Genes Hot Matches, with quite a few who haven't replied? I will continue to look at Hot Matches, but think I will probably get further through Freebmd?
Have to go out now, so thanks for your help, I am eternally grateful.

Whatever you do don't sign up for anything other than basic membership on here. Freebmd is free - obviously!- and ancestry/FMP best for census records plus a lot else. And people will always do lookups of course.
Hot matches can be useful, but remember they only give you some matches each time - better to go looking yourself!

Hi Ann,
Sorry I don't have anything on these Chamberlains but I do have a Mary Chamberlain born c1745 in North Kelsey, died 2.05.1809 in N. Kelsey.
She married William Skelton born 1745 in N. Kelsey died 26.12.1825 in North Kelsey. Their daughter Eleanor married Thomas Matthews and they were my wife's 4x great grandparents. Since they were from the same area of North Lincs, I thought they might be related.
PM me if you want more detail.
Regards
Barry

Hi Barry,

Sorry for late reply, have been very busy with results.
I have found a living Aunt and 2 cousins, and they know of more...... I am over the moon!
Thanks for your family details, sorry that they weren't the 'ones'!

Regards, Ann.
