hi Im June Micheals Mother facts i know to help with tracing Florence
my mother and father took me to a lady in pontypridd called auntie Nel i believe she was florences sister this lady was the spitting image of my nan (granny Ice, Florence) she was still alive in 1975/6 may be a few years more as i used to send christmas cards to her at 7 morganny street trehafod pontypridd I dont know her husband or his name i still correspond at christmas with her grandson. I have traced the family so far nell had a son Ramond L. in 1920, he married Morfydd Williams in 1943 they had a son and daughter Graham in 1944 and Cheryl Graham married Pamela cullen in 1966 they had a son Dean Lee in 1969 he married Karen Corbett in swansea in 1994 i have asked pam this christmas but they are busy people she said they would try to put something together when they could if they had time.Raymonds mothers maiden name was palmer.

thanks again for helping us trying to find my grandmother and her birth record and her father family it's proving a hard nut to crack so if there is someome that thinks that they can crack it the info is there in my theard ?????????? cheer's to rose brummiejan , and lancasterann

all the children on that one are registered in St Albans district as Loder - including this one

No idea if this helps in any way - father has a fancier job than Florence's father, that of Railway Platelayer. He was born in Oxford but that's a very tenuous link I know!

i don't know what the palmer bit is from in her name is that her parents never married so they used both names or is a middle name

i have just tryed lousia palmer and found one in the 1911 cenus living at home with a mother mary palmer lousia was single and 35 i keep asking the photo i have of her and george together to give me sign to tell me if im right or not and yet again nothing

if you give the basic details from the certificate it would give everyone a base to start from

age, status(bachelor/widower spinster/widow etc), occupation, & fathers names & occupations. They all help to find the right people in previous censuses.

Michael, it's so easy to get fazed by too much info! Just follow your plan to get that marriage cert and take it from there.
