Since posting this Alfred married my great Aunt in kent and they stayed until her death 1923. It was alledged that he was deported ... I have since found records that some one with the same surname came back to England 1930 ... Now I believe its possible that he came to surrey area and possibly remarried to a lady called Florence and stayed with her till his death in 1954. Death records show 1954 Alfred Abel Macpherson however I have noticed many people researching Alfred Abel harris have shown this death date and address of death... My question is does any one know of either of these familys On Alfred Abel Macpherson's death shows a Denis Macpherson ... upon checking his mother is Harris ? (If its the right person)

Do you mean that ALL the records posted by helpers in 2017 are the wrong ones?
Are any of them correct?

I assume you mean that Dennis is mentioned on Alfred's death certificate. What else does it say about Dennis? Relationship?, Address?

You refer to your great aunt - but I can't see any sign that you have given us her name

Was his second name ABE as per your first post - or ABEL as you refer to him later

Also, what is the CORRECT spelling of the surname

Emma J McPherson died in 1923
Alfred McPherson married Emma J Goodwin in 1918, and they produced the children named above.

If this isn’t the right man, please tell us why you say his first wife died in Kent in 1923, as the death for Emma J is the only one in the county in that year.

I’ve just looked at the images of the man’s Army documents
He married Emma Jane Goodwin in 1918 (7th April)
He was living at Gordon’s Coffee Tavern in Cardiff when attested in 1917(30th June)
His age was 43 years 2months, which means his birth year was 1874

So, the info posted is CORRECT at least as far as his first wife and their children are concerned.

NB. On these docs his second name is ABE
