Hi.
James Phillip Dalton Pawsey is my great great Grandfather and it coincidence I found this as I start to research him.
My grandmother has very good family records which lines up with most of what is on here.
I'm pretty sure there isn't 2 VC winners in this side of the family though, James Langley Dalton was James Phillip Dalton's uncle if memory serves and won it at the battle or Roukes Drift,

William and Catherine's son, my Great Grandfather, was James Phillip Dalton Pawsey, who married Rosina Mifsud on the 5 August 1890 at Victoria Church, Isla, Malta. He returned to England a few years later and settled in Plymouth. ( He had seven children - five sons Ernest, James, John, Joseph, & William (pictured below) and two daughters, Madeline and Jessie. Two of his sons later emigrated to Australia - James and John.

and another daugher Concerta seemingly

she was transcribed as Conget in 1911, which wa the name I thought strange.

I wonder if the three infant death in Devonport were their children too?
