I am trying to track down where my friends Grandparents lived. Unfortunitly he lost contact with family and he wishes to be buried near to his Grandparents. My friend is 81years and his memory isn't as good as it was. I managed to get his grandfathers death certificate and he was a Oscar .E.C,Law died 1957 and all it has as an address is Warren Cottage, Stansted. I know it was a farm cottage (thatched) and he says it was close to a church. I have spent hours trying to find it but no joy.
I am hoping that someone out there knows of its where abouts, it could help me in finding out where his Grandparents are buried.
