I noticed that Mary said that George Elliott Marriott Esq lived at 5 Palace Green, Kensington, I'm not sure what this address is - but is that in the vicinity of Kensington Palace?

Julie

Julie Report 2 Mar 2010 09:17

Mel

If you google that address it will tell you that Kensington Palace Gardens was known as Palace Green & it is still there today. There is a turning by the Palace called Palace Avenue, then the next one it the one you're after

Thanks Jonesey & Minnie I've had a look at the Palace, as well as Kilvington Hall, I know I would never be invited to those places, it such a different lifestyle!!

MeJoy75 Report 6 Oct 2011 10:04

Hi all,

Can anyone check to see if they can find a baptism for Mary Ann Hardy I believe c1808 in Middlesex. The information I have is that her fathers name was Charles Hardy Esq, (dec'd before 1832) I found this information in a newspaper when she married Joseph Parkinson in 1832. At the time of her marriage her fathers address was Great Titchfield st, Marylebone, London.

Also if possible the parents & siblings of Alice Ann Elliott c1842 Durham, England who married their son Joseph Parkinson in 1867.

If it is best, I will do 2 new threads,

Thanks, Joy
