I don't understand what you mean by "his name was given by GR"

Do you have Ada's birth cert and have you found the family on the census?

HIS NAME WAS GIVEN BY 'GR' AS FATHER OF ADA COPLEY BORN 1886 WANDSWORTH LONDON, WITH ISOBELLA SOPHIA HILL AS MOTHER.

The AFN details are from Ancestral File on Family search, but the only details I see on there give David Friend Copley's death as 1854.

How have you traced back to this family?

UNABLE TO FIND ANY MORE DETAILS WITH REGARD TO 'DAVID FRIEND COPLEY' (AFN:23N7-8V2) BORN 1854?, AND HIS WIFE 'ISOBELLA SOPHIA HILL' (AFN;23N7-8W8) BORN 1864? IS IT POSSIBLE TO SURPLY BIRTH, MARRIAGE AND DEATH DETAILS, i.e. DATES, PLACES AND REG NUMBERS. IF YOU CAN HELP IT WOULD BE WLL APPRECIATED, ANY MANY THANKS.
