You could start by buying the birth cert. for the girls, that will give you their mothers name! |

My paternal gt grandmother was Alice Horrocks b1852 Salford. She had a sister Elizabeth and I think they both married Taylors, James and his eldest brother Joseph respectively. Sister Mary H Hoorocks lives with Joseph and Elizabeth in the 1881 census. Another GRU tree confirms this but says the girls parents are John Horrocks and Sarah Croft (and takes the Crofts way back) |
