I have looked there Flick and couldn't find what I was looking for. I thought perhaps I was doing it incorrectly so thought I would check back to people with more experience

I could only see her age and were she was born on the Gr census. I was given the name Jane Greenwood from someone who is following a similar ancesrty. I am just trying to confirm if it is correct or not. I seem to have been going round in circles

this MIGHT be the birth...there are several of the same name/Lancs same year...but
Prestwich does cover Newton ( if that is the same as newton heath)?

I have found Jane on 1861 census living in Ashton Under Lyne age 4 and again in 1901 aged 43 but don't know who she is living with

There is NO birth in 1884 in Lancashire for the names Albert William Davies

Referring back to Jane Greenwood, only two marriages show on Freebmd to Davies... not them.

Perhaps you'd care to give a bit more info - Jane Greenwood's birth details would be useful
