I would like to thank all who have tried to look up Isabella Green-Kaye and Marjorie Kaye

The birth certificate details for Marjorie Kaye is born 6th may 1894 at 132 Mercer Street Newton-le-Willows to Isabella Green-Kaye no Father.

I have found most of the Burgess family and that Charles & Sarah Burgess moved to 3 Castle Hill in 1904. Marjorie didn't know she was adopted until the day she was getting married it was then that Sarah told her she was called Kaye. Even when Marjorie was dying at the age of 42 with cancer, Sarah would not tell her anything.

It would be good to get the details fom Marjories birth cert.
The address she was born at and posibly her mothers occupation to try and find Isabella Kaye on census to know when and where we should be looking !

I don't think we're looking for a marriage between Kaye and Burgess. I think Kaye was her maiden name, but she was adopted, so took that name (Burgess). But until we hear from Daryl it's pure guesswork.

Have just searched Trees.

I think Daryl has a Marjorie KAYE born Newton le Willows 1896.
