Sorry to hear that Janet - but you are here now.

Yes, you had lots of uncles and aunts and you would have had more but sadly many didn't survive.

They did in fact have a total of 14 children (not counting any who may have been born after 1911 census ??). By that time 8 of them had died and only 6 survived.

Hi Janet,

The reference number is for the 'volume no and page' in the Parish Register and there is more than one marriage entered on the same page. (Two to the page is usual)

The other couple's marriage was entered on the same page and so has the same reference number.

Christine has posted some 'possibles' (thank you)

Harriet Annie is not the one as she is on 1911 daughter of Mary Ann + William.

BUT - this is a possible:

Births Mar 1902
Rowley Annie Elizabeth Coventry 6d 528

I cannot find a Clarence on 1911 so Christine's 'Clarence Queenie' may well be the one (perhaps she should be 'Clarice' or something similar?

You need this site to find them:

http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

and you need to widen your search slightly as a late 1901 birth, for example, could be registered early 1902.

Edit:

OOOhhh 'naughty Christine'! - you keep adding more info onto your post above!

slap wrists! (tee hee!

I always search a year or two either side, just in case!

And if looking for an 'Annie' for example, I usually use a wild card on first name in case she was an 'Ann' or 'Anne' - e.g. Ann*
