Funny, I was told that too but turns out way back a GGgrandfather worked for the lord of the manor............about as near as titled as I get!

Buy Lilian Phyllis Boyce-Russell's birth certificate and it will confirm her parentage. I feel sure the info provided is that which you need.

It would appear that the siblings of Annie claim to be born in Scotland. Her two sisters, Jemima and Ellen, were born in England but claim Edinburgh residency. Their mother was from Edinburgh.

I believe that her mother's name was Annie Herbert.

Annie Herbert married Thomas William Russell in 1897 and was widowed by 1901 when she had a relationship with William Boyce whom she married in 1914.

Annie was from Scotland so maybe you will find her on Scotlandspeople.

Thanks Moody Blue the last one is correct she was none as Phyllis now I need to find her Mother's name as it dose not show on this site's birth certificate's I need to look somewhere else.

i can,t seam to locate lillian on the 1911 census so the birth cert would be the best one to send for as it will name both father & mother rather than the marriad=ge cert as that would only name the father
