Thanks to all for your help. The death of Fredrick I think is very possitive, we will follow that one up. The death of Doris, is a little more dubious, as thr age on the marriage certificate to Fredrick Isaac made her 19, and the birth certificate (if it is the correct one ) gives 1919. We think Doris is from a family mmn Giles, from a london area, but her marriage certificate ,which we know is the correct one, gives the address as Bridport Dorset, which we think is Fredricks address, although the address on my frinds birth cert is also given as the Bridport address. My friend was born to Doris 1 year before she married Fredrick, and adopted at 1 week old. The two births of the Isaac's are exciting and I think we will also send for their certificates. Thank you everyone, keep up mthe good work

Fingers crossed! I would still suggest you try following that address though, nothing to lose.
The only problem is you need to do this in person or they have to do it for you - there will probably be a fee. If you do pursue this bear in mind there was no register 1939-45 so you would need to search a little before, but as it looks as if your mother was born 1938 it should be OK.
Let us know how you get on!

As we live in yorkshire it is a little far to go in person at the moment. Do you know who I contact, for someone to look it up, or look in the electoral register. I am sure Nancy will be willing to pay to find her mother.

Hi Genda, before you send for the two Isaac births I mentioned I think you should contact Linda Keeping on here.
She has quite a few Isaacs born Chalbury and als o the Steel family.
Steel was the name of the mum on Mary and fredericks birth registration.

If Doris death cert is the right one it could mean whoever was the informant might not have known her age
she could have moved to Southampton after Fredericks death
