With reference to Eliza Manning and Joseph Owen Fountain I ordered the marriage certificate of Eliza Manning May 19th 1878 but unfortunately she was married to Henry Bedford therefore he was not Mary's spouse but Eliza's

So it could be that Eliza is yours

Hi Julie I believe this may be the one !!!! looks like they got wed and then had the children baptised shortley afterwards very interesting I shall have to go to achives to look at originals

Yes I got it from 2 of them plus the census

do you think they married much later as the children were all baptised in 1882 info from ladykira just now

I have never looked that late in that area could be a lead are you able to check this at all

So did you get Manning from 1 of the childrens B/C ??

I have had birth certs for some time got hooked on this when I was a teenager and my grandfather gave me head start with info bless him

Hi thanks for this info I do have the birth certs and on all of them its states that Eliza was definately Fountain when the children were born and not Manning but of course we all know that not everyone actually got wed

You have brought up Old Church and that is new info for me so thanks can you find a wedding at this church ?

I had a good look and couldn't see anything...the chances are if the married it would be in London seeing as Joseph & the children were born there....& Eliza probably came to London to work

Where have you Eliza's surname from & did you see the info that Ginny posted
