GR does not notify people that new postings have been on threads on this or any other board


So it is much better if you send them a pm (personal message) by clicking on their name, then typing a mesage in the box that appears, and finally clicking Submit.


GR does then send an email message to tell the person that there is a pm waiitng in their mail box on this site.



Then all you can do is hope that the person still has the same email address that is on file with GR

if you bring up an old posting, click on the poster's name to send a message via GR - the poster is unlikely to be looking for any information if they posted more than a couple of months ago at the least
