1851 census Inverkeithing Fife, Mary Moody age 42 (margaret?) Inverkeithing, also in house James Steele age 8 and John Steele age 6.

1856 birth Inverkeithing,Fife, Elizabeth Moodie.

1861 Census Inverkeithing,Fife, Margaret Moodie age 53 also in house Mary Moodie age 22, William Moodie age 17, and Thomas Moodie age 14..

1881 Census Pollokshaws, Glasgow, Scotland, In the house hold of John Steele Blacksmith, William Moodie born Inverkeithing Fife, age 18 occupation baker, Also in House Elizabeth Moodie age 25. Boarder.

It is very unlikely that anyone who has these people in thier tree will see this.
Your best bet is to search the trees above and if you find a connection you can send the person a message

If you have then you would be just as well to search trees on here every now and again to see if any new members have put thses people on their trees.

It would also help if all research enquiries about the same family were on one thread. No-one likes duplicating research.

Thank you for the help. You are quite right in that I have had help from GR members and I thank them, I appreciate what GR memebrs have done
.

I am really after two things, 1,To find sufficient information to find out more about John Steele s b 1845. ( he stated that he was born Inverkeithing, but suspicion Leslie is more accurate.) And 2 ,his parents. Especially his parents. who were John Steele and Isabella Douglas as stated on John Steele and Margaret Green s wedding registration. I find no record of the John and Isabella people.

As you have seen on the 1881 census that William Moodie was in the house hold of John Steele and Margaret Green. I have thought that there must be a connection back to Margaret Moodie of 1851 census showing that John Steele and brother James were living with Margaret.

Also John Steele in the 1881 census gave one of his sons the middle name of MOODIE which I am sure show a connection to the Moodie family.

Thank you for the information On Robert Moodie and is wife Mary Kinnell while I had seen that before I was not sure where they fit in. It looks like Robert is a brother of Margaret Moodie of the 1841 and 1851 census.

I shall look into that a little further.
