OOPS, something doesn't add up..William born 1744...Joseph died 1742 ??

AWWW, James 1 and Joseph must have been twins, and I would guess James 1 also died young.

TY WT, yes they are the correct parents...greatly appreciated.

My source has the dates as exact, but we found a glitch with her gedcom, and many birthdates were in fact marriage dates.
However, I have sourced the marriage date as correct through IGI records.
I would have to presume that a 14 year gap between marriage and the birth of Joseph would have to indicate a lot of other children, or perhaps Joseph was born a little earlier.

How can his son be born 33 years before the marriage? or even if they are birth dates 33 years before his father?

Did you mean Joseph Fish is the father of John Fish?

Can you please verify the dates.

Now directing my search to Margaret Fish, daughter of John Fish. Recorded in the Stansted Mountfitchet parish registry (viewed original image via SEAX), as daughter of John Fish, 1660.
Could find no mention of any other baptism, marriage or burial for any Fish in the records for that parish record.



Seeking further help with the possible sister to John Fish.

I have a direct male Fish line, and their wives, through to my grandmother, but nothing else.
I can find no further records for John, nor any other siblings for Joseph.
My information for John has come from a fellow member, and distant relative, and ours are the only trees with John in it that have shown here on GR.
Any help finding John's parents,siblings and children appreciated.
