right bit more info...so on my uncles tree ive got ivanhoe could be samuel...who marries annie bycroft then it says annie hallam could be same person and they have 2 chidren samuel 1915 and harry1918... so maybe all along ivanhoe real name is samuel x

hi guys well ivan hoe seems to be the name on my uncles tree like i said he may have a different mother instead of elizabeth...the approx dob is 1880 so seems to be near the one flick found... i didnt find them in 1881 the one i found was 1877? im more than likely wrong tho lol... i will go back on to my uncles tree now and see if i an find any more useful information thankyou for all your responses didnt think there would be so many lol x

been looking on my uncles tree and he has got as far as john hallam and elizabeth lyle they married in sheffield 1877 but as far as d.o.b's go i only have approximates john 1855 and liz 1862 which i dont think are correct..there was also i child ivanhoe but think john may have been married before as i looked on free bmd for ivanhoes birth and couldnt find anything for john and liz as parents so if anyone could help that would be great...thanks so much x
