Christopher Rampton 1759-1838 married Dinah Blunden 1785 both from Monk Sherborne.Thats what I have in my tree,Now I have been told thats wrong as Dinah Blunden married a William Wigmore,and both were to have come from North Watham and had William1781,George1786,John1788. I have children also with my Christopher and Dinah also. So how can I find out who;s right . Did my Christopher Rampton marry a Dinah Blunden or not? Please is anyone able to find out, As this member I have been in contact with is very sure,and I would like to know,so I can put things right. Many thanks Debbie

I have one Dinah same date,from North Waltham and the other one from Monk Sherborne,could there be two different Dinah's ? with the same surname but different family (Blunden) ?

I was unable to access 3 of the trees that had her marrying William Wigmore ........ they could have been removed or changed to Private Family Trees

I have to say that the trees with her marrying Christopher do also show the Blunden Family Coat of Arms.

The one and only one of her marrying Wigmore does not. Of course I ahve no idea what was on the 3 that are not accessible.

Dinah isprobably the child of John and Rebecca Blunden, baptised inNorth Waltham on 8 Jul 1759, and she died in MS and was buriedthere ("Dinah wife of Christopher Rampton") on 17 Jun 1819, aged57, although the age given at the time of her death would meanthat she was actually born circa 1762. Christopher died and wasburied in MS on 28 Dec 1838 aged 79 years.

The only marriage record for Dinah Blunden marrying William Wigmore that I can see comes from a SUBMITTED record .... sent in by a mamber of the LDS church, with no backing documentation!
