	The probable birth cert gives the mothers surname as Marshall Births Mar 1916 (>99%) Coates Dorothy M Marshall Barrow F 8e 123

	The names of her parents will be on the birth cert You could, of course, look on freebmd for a marriage between Coates and Hayter

	When you say her Mum was unknown...are you meaning there was no Mums name on her birth cert Was her Dads name on there

Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 293 Send Message	Hi I am trying to find the mother & hopefully father of Dorothy C.M. Coates, Dorothy was born in Barrow in Furness in 1916, her mother Unknown HAYTER around 1890, maybe Barrow in Furness. Many thanks.
