Anyway what is the point of giving 'either' of you any infomation? you don't take any notice.

When I replied to lynn's 1st post about Lawrence I gave the 1911 census which gave details of his parents George and Ruth and how long they had been married which was 26 years ....so why post this and say they married in 1892 just wasting our time

Anybody else find this statement in the OP amusing?

"i belive a rough date for the marriage is somewhere in april may or june 1892 although i'm not certain"

Hmm. April, May or June 1892. Sounds suspiciously like a registration quarter, doesn't it??

I wonder, I wonder. Where could such a piece of information possibly have come from???

Not something a rank newbie would just make up, I don't think, I don't. ;)

Is it in one of Abbey's threads, Lynn???

Oh dear, they never existed, did they?

Where *did* you get that bit of info, Lynn???

One of those whispery PMs from the people so eager to tell you stuff?

Nah.

Hmm. It's way wrong, though, so maybe you did just make it up ...

I find many things vastly amusing, and while ordinarily, and intrinsically, you're pretty boring, I find you far more amusing than the very difficult (even for me - that's why they give it to me) and very boring piece of work that's been on my monitor since Saturday. Poo Bear and her niece, or the Statutory Instruments Act? Well, the latter pays a lot more handsomely, that's for sure. Just even more boring.

lordy, abbey

you really don't know janey do you

.......... she has one of the busiest lives of anyone that I know

and she is also one of the best researchers on these boards.

you two have managed to really tee off so many people that it is unbelievable ...... and you have conned so many people into giving you the same advice time after time by posting thread after thread.

I think enough people have kept copies of your threads that we can prove you wrong in your continued denials as to what you have or have not done, or have or have not posted.

What is it?

Is the information that has been found for you at least 10 or 12 times not the information that you want to hear?

What information DO you want?

We don't manufacture it you know ......... we go to www.freebmd.org.uk to find the marriage registration

you've been given that url several times

It is free to use that site, so you don't need to have anyone else to do the search for you.

However .........................

THEN you have to buy the certificate from the General Registry Office for £9.25 ...... we all have to buy certificates for our ancestors. They are not avaliable anywhere on the web, so NO-ONE is able to give more exact information that that found on freebmd.

That url is www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

you have to register with them, but it is free to do that. Then you have to have a credit card so that you can charge the fee.

I hope this explains things for you

I find it odd Abbey that you are checking out 'Lynn’s' thread when you clearly have no idea about Genealogy...

...you don’t (according to your obvious lack of knowledge) even know how to look on Freebmd; otherwise you would have done some basic research yourself

Hmmm, when I was a new starter I didn’t read threads that meant nothing to me!

We don’t have t##t written on our foreheads!

I think what would be a great idea is for niece and aunt to post on one thread at the same time, so you can swap the details you already have on the thread whilst still asking for help on the things neither of you know :)

JaneyCanuck Report 22 Jun 2010 20:40

But they are, Rose. ;)

Lynn started the thread, Abbey's the one posting in it. See how Abbey is helping Lynn!

Enough already !!!!!
This is pathetic.
Silly little girls with a limelight problem.
Just pin a warning on any of their threads and then ignore them.
They're enjoying all this.
Abby/Lynn/Chris ... whatever ....grow up !

Gee

Gee Report 22 Jun 2010 20:46

Hey, I'm just the follower here.

Actually, it's probably just a leaderless gang, roaming around aimlessly, ridding the world of nuisances. Anarchy, the good kind.

Yes, Michael, it was you I was quoting earlier. ;)

Abbey,

Thats more than Lynn is...holiday?? (a forced one from Genes, bless) funny that she never mentioned anything last night/this morning when she was abusing us?

Hang on earlier in this thread you said you didn't know who she was??

OOooooh you see your confusing us all now.... one min your nice the next your all shouty and horrid.

Oh well, have a happy one. I hope you find all your rellies.... after all we have found them all several times for you!

Christine

Christine Report 23 Jun 2010 00:13

since ur so gd at reading or maybe not ....... i have never said id ont know who Lynn is I have said several times I AM NOT LYNN

WayneTracey

WayneTracey Report 23 Jun 2010 00:27

Like i say, you keep confusing us!

We never said you were Lynn, and you say your not, thats fine, but you def know her.

We said you were all the other nasty people you keep changing into, Pooh Bear/Christine/Abbey Sunshine/Carrie..... all foul potty mouthed people who gaod those helping you!

..... and even daring to point out you had the certs for the data you were asking! another whooshed thread!

You see your not very good at communicating when you dish it out.... it's one liners in caps. Thats not a great deal to worry about. If your genuinely here for help ask the questions....but more importantly listen to the answers!!

Sadly i think your just here for the amusement of making us run around....only it's not working, and we've rumbled you.

I'll await your 5 to 10 word answer in caps..... or are you going to try and be civilised?
