Member Since: January 2008 Posts: 93 Send Message	i am trying to find my an grandads family who i know very little about ralph chisholm oliver was my great grandad, he had a big family, my grandad thomas elstob oliver was born on the 08/01/1913 houghton le spring sunderland, i know of two brothers harry and john but there were other brothers and sisters can anyone help

	Ralph C Oliver Death Registration Month/Year: 1946 Age at death (estimated): 58 Registration district: Durham Northern Inferred County: Durham Volume: 1a Page: 356 Births Dec 1887 Oliver Ralph Chisholm Gateshead 10a 773 As Rose said initially, this birth for Ralph is on free bmd, you then need to get the birth certificate for mother and father, to 'confirm' the 1891 entry is the correct Ralph. We can go further back, but it is much better with proof.

	The trouble with census records is that sometimes one of the "parents" could be a stepmother or father. Alway best to check the certificate before going any further.
