John Holland was born in Ireland abt 1819/23, he married Mary Haswell in 1853 in Houghton Le Spring, they had a son Daniel who was my great grandfather, I don't know how to find Irish records. Does any one have any information about the family they lived in the Easington area, Daniel was born in Sunderland Tyne and wear

You might find him on Familysearch site, but having had a look there are quite a few possibles. It might help to have his father's name from the marriage cert.

Hi'Kin,
Possible connection.
The only John Holland I could find with age as per Patricia record as a birth 1823.[aged 38, 1861 census]
John Holland baptised 26th March 1823.
Father John Holland,
Mother Cath Sullivan,
Cork South Parish.
