If she married in 1866 then she would have been older than 50 in 1911.

How old was she when she married?

This looks like the marriage that Ian is referring to

Spouse Age: Full Age
Record Type: Marriage
Event Date: 22 Jan 1866

Could anyone with unlimited access to 1911 census help me find MARY TASSELL. I cannot find her and there is a strong possibility that the spelling could be incorrectly recorded. She would be around 50 at the time and the area is likely to be London/Croydon Surrey.By 1911 she was a widow. She was born in Northants.

Many thanks,
Pauline
