Just shows how much disdain they hold their own members in, that they want to make changes based on surveys that so few of the members can have a input to!!!
Why don't they just do what they want anyway, that way they can save on the cost of surveys!!

I find it very odd that GR decided that the best place to put a link for a survey about it's own site anywhere but on it's own site.

Obviously GR don't want honest opinion from it's members

Another person who will not use Facebook or any similar site.

If GR want to do a survey then place it on here for all members to take part.

Joy and Flick

that is precisely how my exchange of emails with GR began ...... complaining about the market survey being done in London, with a total of 16 participants, disenfranchising anyone who lived outside London and all overseas members.

I suggested an online survey THROUGH GR, as they have the email addresses of all GR members.

They thanked me for my constructive comments.

THEN they started this survey on the GR page on Facebook ......... which apparently has about 350 or so members

So I wrote to complain again, as someone who refuses point-balnk to go on Facebook ....... and got the link to the survey

I thought it sufficiently important that every member of GR should know about it ...... and have the chance to voice their opinions, good or bad!

Hence posting these threads on every board .......... ok, I know, I know, duplication!!!!

Advertising the survey on Facebook is as restrictive and discriminatory as holding their market research meetings in London

I, for one, never use sites like Facebook...........and am never likely to.

GR have a perfectly good medium for contacting their members...............why not use it?

GR invited its members to apply to participate in market research due to take place in London; also, I believe that members were invited to contact the market research company through its given email address.

After I sent an email stating "My opinion is that it would be more useful if the questions that would be asked in the research were sent to each paid and unpaid member. Otherwise, I really do not think that there will be a balanced result. The site has members worldwide; therefore it would, I feel, be unfair to solely concentrate on members based in or near the capital of England.", I received a reply from GR, part of which stated "We are also going to be conducting an online survey though that you'll be able to take part in." I have not yet seen the online survey on GR. However, I understand that it is advertised on facebook.

In the event that GR does not advertise it through GR, I think it is important that we give constructive criticism – the site is given on GR’s page on facebook:
"For all those who could not take part in the research study sessions taking place in London, we have created an online survey. Participate in the survey here http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/WEB22AXVZ2AAJ7"

Thanks Sylvia.......I wouldn't have known about the survey otherwise.

I wonder why GR didn't post a message on the boards directing people to the survey? Or can I guess?

I heard last week that GR was conducting a survey of users of GR ............... through Facebook

I emailed them to find out how non-Facebook users could also participate in the survey, and why they had not done the survey through this site.

The response from GR included the following link .....................

Please find below a link to the survey that you refer to.

http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/WEB22AXVZ2AAJ7

I filled out the survey last night, it took about 20 minutes or so, partly because the last 2 questions ask for comments and suggestions on the site and how to improve it.

Please take the time to follow the link.

I believe it is important that we the users of GR do have input into the site.
