trying to find the marriage between jane lucy RING b1859 and William CANNING between c1877 and 1890 have found no record so far all help much appreciated

She was born in GREENWICH 1859 and is found later in WEST HAM with her husband, I have a certificate from her son showing father as william canning and mother as Jane lucy canning formerly ring. im assuming that was her maiden name

So that might leave Jane as marrying Alfred but as I said it is pure guesswork

Just cross checked the 1881 and the 1891 results above, the 1881 census in the name of CANNON, it shows william CANNON aged 25 and Jane L aged 21 and a new born Jane CANNON,

The 1891 census above shows both william and Jane Lucy PANNING (CANNING) with baby Jane now 10 and william G PANNING aged 8, so i checked the FREEBMD which showed

so this shows both 1881 and 1891 census's are correct, now back to the original search for thier marriage...
