How old does it state he is on the marriage certificate if you have it....or do you know when he was born?

Do you have the marriage certificate to your mother? That would give his father's name and should help track him down in the 1901 and 1911 censuses.

This is the marriage registeration...if you purchase the marriage cert. it will give you his fathers name and occupation, his occupation and place where he was living at time of marriage.

can find no mention off this man before 1916 when he married rose grossmith dicks,anyone know him he was born about 1890 and died 1958 he was my father but i cant find his birth records .i am angela shrubsall now smith and am trying to grow a family tree ,thankyou if you know please contact me
