Does anyone have any info on Lydia Robinson, born ??? c.1806.
She married George Bamforth (born Hunslet c.1801) on 23 Dec 1821 at St John's church. Wakefield. I have information that their daughter was christened Eleanor on 4th Feb 1823. This child was my great grandmother who married Thomas Crellin but was known during her lifetime as Ellen. George, Lydia and Ellen were living in Liverpool by the time of the 1841 census.
By 1851 George was a widower.

It was from a GenesR member in Victoria, Australia that I received the information that George Bamforth married Lydia Robinson.
Other than that - I have no knowledge of her.

I am aware of the difference in spelling for George (Balmforth) on marriage details. The family name of Bamforth came down through their daughter Ellen to her son (my grandfather) and grandson (my Uncle)
