I am trying to find my details of my mother in laws family. her grandfather, Niels Christian Kaxe came over from Denmark to England in 1918, returning later, in about 1925, leaving many of the children behind. We have been successful in doing the family tree from there, but cannot find anything about Niels. Not even his date of birth. If you can help, I would be grateful. He was married to Christina Mary and they had 9 children. Christina died in childbirth with the 9th child in the workhouse in Chard, SOmerset.

Not my family, but was looking for someone else. Karl Kristiansson KAXE was born in Vankiiva, Sweden in 1828. I think he was married in Sweden, but his wife died after having four children. Karl moved to Denmark in 1871, he was the father of Niels, who was born in Denmark in 1874.

David - is your Neils Kaxe the same one as Andrea was asking about or have you tagged onto the thread as its the same surname?

If you have found out something about Andrea's Neils, send her a message by clicking on her name. If she still uses the same email address....and can access it...she'll be notified that you are trying to contact her. Non subscribing can read and reply to PM's, but not instigate them. Good luck.
