Thanks for these...still no births registered for minnie or sisters.were they born in England I wonder....Is there a passenger list somewhere ,that they would be on ?How else can I trace their mother....

Still can not find birth certs for Minnie.Matilda and Rose.Du Bray.Surely if Sarah Arnold was the mother of Minnie there would be a record somewhere.Anyone got the answer to these missing birth certs.Or do I take it that they were all Illegit and just took The Du Bray name after their father..I know who they all married and their familes,so please do not spend your time for this.Thanks Pam

On 1891 census when Sarah Ann Arnold is housekeeper it says Jacob Du bray is married,maybe that is why he and Sarah didn't marry till later on.

It looks as though Minnie is daughter of Sarah and Jacob and Rose and Matilda to his previuos wife.

Strange no definate births showing up though.

Matilda born Ramsgate @ 1866 according to 1911 census which is usually accurate.
Rose @ 1870.Gravesend
Minnie born Dartford1866.
