What now ? I'm hoping that there is a connection as in earlier post between George and Albert sons of John ,Albert who married mary in 1885 and George who has frances, matthew etc

Claude's birth is indexed under 3 surnames suggesting parents weren't married and mother was or had been married previously.

Yes Harry is the son bn 1896 of Albert and Mary both bn 1862 ,matthew bedford 1909 is son of thomas and frances (nee Haigh).
Harry married or didn't marry a Hilda Rowsby bn 1913/14 had a son Claude Bedford bn 1930

So Mathew 1909 is son of Thomas and Frances nee Haigh,so who did Harry 1895/6 marry.

Te reason I am doing this is because my sister in law has been contacted by a solicitor who told her if she can prove that her husbands father Harry Bedford bn barnsley 1896 was connected to Eileen Loxley bn 1935 Goole parents Matthew Bedford bn 1909 and mary a Crabtree who married June 1938 she might be entitled to some money,

Albert Bedford married O/N/D 1885 9c 366 to Mary Denton.= the 25 years married on 1911 census.

Tom married Frances Alice Haigh born 1885 in Worsboro Yorks,her parents were George Henry Haigh 1864 son of Fanny Haigh born 1839 she is on 1911 census with Thomas and Frances Bedford.

Edit i now think the above maybe wrong.
I have found John Bedford 1831 Monks bretton engine fitter with daughter in law Lucy Ann Bedford nee Lane married 1880 in Barnsley 1861 and her daughter Laura 1882/3.

Lucy Ann was married to his son George born @ 1855,the George I had with son Tom/Thomas married someone else.
So the connection I thought I had found doesn't seem possible.

You would have to trace both families back.
