Hi all,
I want to obtain the birth certificate of Jane Farrell, one of my aunts. Do I need to send for the certificate, or is there another way to check? There are 2 possibles on BMD, June 1905 8d 216 or March 1909 8d 231, both Manchester, but I'm not sure which one is correct. I think 1909 will be correct as her mother was born in 1891.
Jane's mother was Mary Ellen Farrell, father Daniel Long, but I think they were unmarried at the time of her birth.
Many thanks.
