I am looking for information on William George Leddy c1911 and his parents Peter J Leddy c1885 and Sissy Leddy nee Brown. William was married to Blodwyn Daniels 1934 then divorced moved to london and i think he married again. Not sure if they were from London or Swansea William and Blodwyn's marriage was swansea. If any one could help it would be very much appreciated. |

To be honest, I would go back to what you have for certain, which I assume is his marriage. Get the marriage cert. for Blodwyn and find out his father's details. Only then can you move forwards as otherwise it's just hearsay. |

I have an update re peter J Leddy c1885, the father of William George Leddy c1911. Peter j leddy lived in Scotland in his youth but there is a thought that he was born in Ireland, his occupation was working on the railways. Can anyone help me find out how i check the irish link please. If any one could look on the 1911 census for him and his family i would be very grateful Peter J Leddy c1885 married to Rachel Elizabeth Brown, children:. Elizabeth 1909, Dorothy 1923, Florence no date of birth, William George 1907, Cissie F 1921, Alice 1913 and Bessie 1926. I am looking for Peter and Rachels parents, Many thanks in anticipation:)) |

Hi Jax, I have sent off for the marriage cert , it should be here first week Jan, looking at the last two family's are they the same ones just different addresses and no husband in the 1891 census, or is it just me! |

The last two census are the same family they may have transcribed his mothers age wrong 58 is a bit old to have a 1 yr old. |
